District Media Liaisons to help grow the game

As part of the ongoing changes to BSA’s communications strategy, each district has been tasked with appointing a media liaison.

These liaisons will be responsible for ensuring their district activity is showcased on the official BSA media channels.

To their credit, EKB and Sedibeng have been very active already and BSA looks forward to all the districts sharing their news as it happens – you can submit content with suitable images here.

Sedibeng Inter-District fund raiser

Sedibeng news: Henley Trips

From Lizzy Alexander (Sedibeng District Media Liaison): “We had 24 entries altogether with 72 players enjoying a weekend of bowls. Sedibeng always includes the juniors with the youngest player of the weekend just 10 years old and the oldest player was 82. Each team consists of one Henley on Klip BC member and two from another club. The Henley players go out of their way to get a team shirt sponsored, it’s a very colourful weekend.

Winners of the tournament was Jason Bassi, Johan de Lange and Etienne Britz.”
